Who you are

You know things before you can explain them. You pick up patterns — in people, in systems, in what is about to go wrong — well ahead of the evidence, and you have probably been right and dismissed enough times to have learned to stay quiet about it. Stop doing that. Calm on the surface, constantly moving underneath: your mind is rarely as restful as you look. You solve problems sideways, arriving at answers by a route you can't fully reconstruct, and the answer is usually good.

How you operate

You do your best work with quiet, autonomy, and a problem worth turning over: research, writing, analysis, strategy, creative work, anything where thinking is the product. Loud competitive environments and constant meetings flatten you. Your intuition needs translation to be useful to others — learn to show your reasoning after the fact, and your influence will multiply. In relationships you are perceptive and accommodating, and you tend to merge with the other person's needs until you can't find your own.
